About The Position

We are looking for an experienced Sign Designer / Production Artist who is creative, detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a friendly, fast-paced production team environment. This is a full-time position for someone who understands both the creative and technical sides of the sign industry and takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality detailed drawings and sections. Signtech is looking for a talented Architectural Designer / Production Artist with a strong architectural background and proficiency in CorelDRAW. Previous sign-industry experience is not required. We are looking for someone who understands architectural drawings, can create accurate and detailed design layouts, and is interested in learning how architectural electrical signage is designed and manufactured. This is a full-time opportunity for a creative, detail-oriented professional who enjoys seeing their designs become finished, real-world products.

Requirements

3–5 years of professional sign design or production art/drawing experience.
Strong experience reading architectural blueprints and construction drawings.
Experience creating sign drawings, elevations, details, and sections.
Knowledge of sign fabrication methods and vinyl application.
Proficiency in CorelDRAW 2025 and Corel PHOTO-PAINT 2025.
Strong photo retouching and image-editing skills.
Typing speed of at least 30–35 words per minute.
Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills.
Ability to work efficiently while maintaining accuracy.
Positive attitude and ability to work well as part of a team.
Strong ability to read and understand architectural blueprints and construction drawings.
Understanding of Graphic Design software (CorelDraw preferred).
Experience reading architectural elevations, sections, details, and technical drawings.
Strong layout, typography, and graphic-design skills.
Image and photo-retouching experience.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities.

CAD programs.
CoreDRAW 2025/Corel PHOTO-PAINT 2025.
Knowledge of construction documents, building materials, fabrication, or manufacturing.
Experience preparing files for production or CNC equipment.
Architectural, drafting, environmental-design, exhibit-design, or related technical-design experience.

Responsibilities

Create electrical sign design drawings, elevations, sections, layouts, and production-ready artwork.
Read and interpret architectural plans and blueprints.
Prepare accurate artwork and files for sign fabrication, vinyl production, digital printing.
Retouch, manipulate, and enhance photos and digital images.
Work closely with project management, engineering, fabrication, and production teams.
Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Review artwork carefully to ensure accuracy, quality, and proper specifications.
Read and interpret architectural plans, blueprints, elevations, and construction documents.
Use CorelDRAW to prepare accurate, production-ready design files.
Review drawings, dimensions, specifications, and artwork for accuracy.
Learn electrical sign-design standards, fabrication methods, materials, and installation requirements.
