About The Position

Interstate Waste Services is seeking a CDL B Side Load Truck Driver. Safety is our top priority. This position offers hourly pay of $26.06 with a work week from Monday to Friday, 5 am to 1 pm. A minimum of 1 year of CDL experience is required. We provide a comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401k. Requirements

21 Years of Age & Legally Eligible to Work in the United States
Valid Class A or B CDL
Airbrake Endorsement
1-year CDL driving experience in the last 7 years.
Great Safety Record and Clean MVR
Working Knowledge of DOT, OSHA & Applicable Traffic Regulations
Ability to Speak & Read English to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic & signals, respond to official questions & make legible entries on reports & records
Ability to Read & Understand a Map
Meet Physical & Safety Requirements of the Position.
Willing & Able to Work Required Worked Hours as Allowed Under DOT Regulation & May Include Weekend, Night &/Or Holiday Work

Nice To Haves

Experience as a Driver or Helper for a Refuge Company is Highly Preferred

Responsibilities

Safely operate front, side, or rear-loading trucks for the pick-up service of bags or containers filled with waste or recyclable material.
Transport material to a disposal, transfer, or recycle facility, potentially making multiple trips per shift.
Perform pre and post-trip inspections to ensure truck compliance with safety standards, OSHA, DOT regulations, and local traffic laws.
