Requirements

Valid CDL A license
Relevant experience preferred
Experience with computer software and programs
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Customer service skills
Belief that "the safe way is the right way"

Responsibilities

Movement of customer freight using dry van within a 2-mile radius (pin to pin).
Adherence to load security regulations (company rules and DOT legislation).
Proper completion of driver documentation as per company, client, and DOT requirements.
Adherence to company SOPs.
Daily inspection of the truck.
Maintenance of routine communication with dispatch and yard control.
Utilization of proprietary software to receive and complete moves.
Monitoring of truck condition and communication with the regional manager for repairs.
Maintenance of a clean and tidy workplace.
Inspection of trailers.
Other duties as assigned.
