IMC/Parts Authority LLC. is seeking a Shuttle Driver for their San Bernardino, California location. This is a newly created career opportunity with a company vehicle provided. The Delivery Driver is a pivotal role in the success of the business, serving as the main point of contact with customers and fostering strong client relationships. Requirements

Current, valid driver’s license
Must be able to meet company insurance requirements- (drivers must be 21 years old or over)
Current valid automobile insurance with your name on the policy
Ability to lift, move, push and pull up to 50 pounds, prolonged sitting. (Auto Body Parts Collision Drivers must be able to lift 75 lbs )
Maintain and promote workplace safety
Securing and transferring cash or other assets.
Ability to utilize a tablet and/or mobile device for purposes of navigation/ route optimization
Exceptional customer and verbal communication skills, ability to communicate effectively, professionally, with tact and diplomacy
Ability to take and follow directions and work well with others as part of team
Flexible schedule with the ability to work overtime as needed

Nice To Haves

Previous delivery driving experience is a plus

Responsibilities

Transport items between stores while adhering to assigned routes and time schedules.
Work as part of the shuttle team to ensure orders are complete, packed correctly, and safely delivered between stores.
Loading, transporting, and delivering items between stores in a safe, timely manner.
Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the team member is satisfied.
Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles.
Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules.
Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
Preparing reports and other documents relating to deliveries.
Use route navigation apps and knowledge of area to deliver packages to customers on time.
When applicable, complete daily maintenance checks on company delivery vehicle and notify manager of any issues.
Assist in any and all other store/ warehouse duties (stock, parts pulling etc.) as assigned.
