About The Position

TEMPORARY SHUTTLE DRIVER POSITION NEEDED DURING STATE FAIR If you enjoy being a part of a team, are hard-working, have a positive -can do attitude and strive to deliver exceptional customer service each day, we welcome for you to join our team. Must be available evenings, weekends and holidays. The primary responsibility of our Bellperson/Driver is to provide excellent service by greeting all guests and assisting with luggage and other basic needs. Provides safe transportation for all guests, using hotel vehicles.

Requirements

Excellent knowledge of local attractions and entertainment venues
Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with employees and guests
Ability to effectively interact with internal and external customers, some of whom will require a high level of patience, tact and diplomacy, to defuse anger, collect accurate information and resolve conflicts

Responsibilities

Maintain high visibility in lobby area and promote interaction with guests.
Knowledge of local points of interest and entertainment attractions.
Ability to provide accurate information on hotel services and amenities.
Maintains the cleanliness of the hotel vehicle(s) by vacuuming, dusting, and washing the exterior daily.
Polishes luggage carts on a daily basis.
Maintains a clean lobby area and other public areas by following daily checklist.
Conduct daily vehicle inspection before and after each shift.
Report any vehicle damage to supervisor or other hotel manager.
Ability to work while standing for extended periods of time.
Assist in check-in/check-out of guests or any other guest service-related activity.
Perform other duties as requested.
Cover front office employee break periods.
