About The Position

This role involves maintenance and preps on 20’ ISO tanks/containers, and shuttling chassis/containers as needed. The ideal candidate will have a CDL with tank and haz-mat endorsements. Requirements

  • Must have CDL with tank and haz-mat endorsements.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Adequate computer skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Able to work outside in variable weather conditions.
  • Ability to follow spoken and written instruction.
  • Ability to safely perform all tasks and understand Company’s safety policies and procedures.
  • Valid commercial driver’s license required with tank and haz-mat endorsements.
  • Dependable transportation is required.
  • Ability to pass required Safety Council training examinations, and all pre-employment screenings i.e. drug screen.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and hold or lift a variety of objects.
  • Able to carry, bend, stoop, turn, kneel, crawl, climb a ladder and other manual labor activities.
  • Ability to operate in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar position.

Responsibilities

  • Shuttle equipment between operations daily when needed.
  • Ensure equipment is in proper working order and document inspections, reporting discrepancies.
  • Maintain daily inspection logs for equipment and report exceptions; ensure equipment receives periodic maintenance.
  • Fill and deliver material vouchers to production crews.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment failures.
  • Perform facility and grounds maintenance.
  • Use computerized maintenance systems.
  • Communicate effectively with Dispatchers and Drivers to ensure production and customer needs are met.
  • Always follow safety procedures and promote a safe environment.
  • Perform light maintenance/preps on containers.
  • Handle product temperature requirements such as steaming/hot water heating.
  • Perform basic equipment PM and maintenance repairs of lift equipment.
  • Work on potentially dangerous equipment and use hand and power tools, while following all safety procedures.
