About The Position

Propark Mobility is currently hiring Shuttle Drivers for full-time and part-time opportunities to start immediately. The Shuttle Driver transports customers to and from the facility, greets passengers, and provides assistance with loading and unloading. The role requires operating the shuttle bus safely and efficiently, complying with all traffic and safety regulations, and monitoring vehicle condition. Communication with dispatchers and other employees via a two-way radio system is essential for coordinating routes, announcing arrivals and delays, and handling vehicle or customer issues. Drivers are responsible for conducting pre/post-trip inspections, maintaining the cleanliness of the shuttle, and monitoring traffic and weather conditions. Accident and safety situations must be reported to dispatch or a supervisor. A courteous, friendly, and professional demeanor towards customers is expected.

Requirements

  • You are at least 18 years old.
  • You have a valid driver's license and have been driving for at least 3 years in the United States.
  • You have the ability to operate a passenger van safely and efficiently
  • You have the ability to work flexible hours, evenings, and weekends
  • Energetic, outgoing and can stand, run, and carry items, up to 50lbs, if needed.
  • Great communicator in both written and spoken language, with a friendly, professional approach to everyone you meet.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, and can help resolve customer issues in a positive and helpful way.
  • Do you have a DOT medical card?

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service: 1 year+
  • Experience driving a shuttle bus or commercial vehicle: 1 year+

Responsibilities

  • Drives shuttle bus and transports customers to and from the facility.
  • Greets passengers and provides assistance with loading and unloading.
  • Operates the shuttle bus in a safe and efficient manner and complies with all traffic and safety regulations.
  • Monitors vehicle condition and records malfunctioning items or damage on appropriate forms.
  • Communicates with dispatchers, drivers and other employees using a two-way radio system to communicate routes, announcing arrivals and delays, coordinating the pick-up of customers, or handling other vehicle or customer issues that arise.
  • Conducts pre/post trip inspections of the shuttle buses at the beginning and end of shift to ensure sound operating conditions, this includes adding any elements that the shuttle may need, checking tire pressure and depth.
  • End of shift duties include but not limited to sweeping, mopping, taking your trash out, refueling your shuttle, etc.
  • Monitors traffic and weather conditions and notifies dispatch or supervisor of potential problems.
  • Reports accidents or other safety situations to dispatch or supervisor.
  • Treats all customers in a courteous, friendly and professional manner.
