About The Position

The Shuttle Driver is responsible to drive customers to or from their home or work while service is being performed on their vehicles as a courtesy service.

Requirements

• Able to anticipate and understand customer’s needs and provide viable solutions.
• Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication expertise.
• Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
• Valid Chauffeurs Driver’s License
• HS diploma or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Drives customers to or from their homes or work and picks them up after their vehicle is repaired.
• Follows all traffic laws and company policies.
• Uses good judgment and safe driving skills.
• Keeps a timely shuttle route.
• Assists passengers getting in and out of vehicles.
• Operates radio or similar device to communicate with dealership or other vehicles to report disruption of service.
• Supports and assists Porters/Detailers when no customer transportation is required.
• Notifies dispatcher or service manager of any servicing the shuttle vehicle may require, such as oil changes, tires, cleaning and general maintenance.
• Demonstrates professional behavior.
