About The Position

This position is responsible for driving a shuttle at the racetrack. The track prides itself on a family-friendly atmosphere, with a “Kids 12 & Under Are Always Free” policy. Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta is recognized as one of the world’s best road courses, a 2.54-mile road course situated in the rolling hills 35 minutes north of Atlanta. The multi-purpose facility hosts the 10-hour Petit Le Mans race that closes out the IMSA schedule and is the final of the four endurance races contested by the series.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 6 months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Must maintain a valid Driver’s License.
• Position is safety sensitive and participates in the corporate Substance Abuse Program (SAP).

Nice To Haves

• CDL is preferred unless the classification of vehicle type is required by state law

Responsibilities

• Operate a shuttle bus and perform necessary “pre-trip” inspections.
• Assisting guests on and off the bus.
• Operate a 2-way radio and communicate on the radio clearly.
• Check credentials/tickets of people riding the bus.
• Maintain a professional and courteous disposition to all guests.
