About The Position

Propark Mobility is currently hiring Shuttle Drivers for full-time and part-time opportunities to start immediately. This role involves driving a shuttle bus to transport customers to and from the facility, ensuring their safety and comfort. The driver will greet passengers, assist with loading and unloading, and operate the vehicle safely and efficiently in compliance with all traffic and safety regulations. Responsibilities also include monitoring vehicle condition, communicating with dispatch via radio, conducting pre/post-trip inspections, monitoring traffic and weather, and reporting any accidents or safety situations. A courteous, friendly, and professional demeanor towards customers is essential.

Requirements

  • You are at least 18 years old.
  • You have a valid driver's license and have been driving for at least 3 years.
  • You have the "P" or "F" endorsement.
  • You have the ability to operate a passenger van safely and efficiently
  • You have the ability to work flexible hours, evenings, and weekends
  • Energetic, outgoing and can stand, run, and carry items, up to 50lbs, if needed.
  • Great communicator in both written and spoken language, with a friendly, professional approach to everyone you meet.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, and can help resolve customer issues in a positive and helpful way.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service: 1 year+
  • Experience driving a shuttle bus or commercial vehicle: 1 year+

Responsibilities

  • Drives shuttle bus and transports customers to and from the facility.
  • Greets passengers and provides assistance with loading and unloading.
  • Operates the shuttle bus in a safe and efficient manner and complies with all traffic and safety regulations.
  • Monitors vehicle condition and records malfunctioning items or damage on appropriate forms.
  • Communicates with dispatchers, drivers and other employees using a two-way radio system to communicate routes, announcing arrivals and delays, coordinating the pick-up of customers, or handling other vehicle or customer issues that arise.
  • Conducts pre/post trip inspections of the shuttle buses at the beginning and end of shift to ensure sound operating conditions.
  • Monitors traffic and weather conditions and notifies dispatch or supervisor of potential problems.
  • Reports accidents or other safety situations to dispatch or supervisor.
  • Treats all customers in a courteous, friendly and professional manner.
