SUMMARY: The Bellman greets guests with a warm welcome at hotel entrance and provide services related to the transportation and storage of luggage and provide other guest services.

Requirements

  • Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process
  • Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Must possess basic computer skills
  • Must be able to respond to guest requests and business volume quickly and efficiently
  • Legally be able to drive within the US (maintain a clean driving record)
  • Previous customer service experience required
  • Must have a valid driver’s license if required to operate a company vehicle or guest vehicles

  • Previous hotel experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Load and unload luggage carts
  • Tag and store luggage
  • Escort guest to hotel rooms
  • Drive hotel shuttle
  • Provide an overview of guest room, hotel services and amenities
  • Make deliveries to guest rooms
  • Assist guest with room changes
  • Maintain list/brochures of local attractions, transportation guides, churches, sports arenas, etc.
  • Perform house attendant functions when staff shortages occur
  • Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction
  • Ensure overall guest satisfaction
  • Perform other duties as requested by management
