About The Position

As a family owned and operated business, 12 Oaks Parking has been proudly providing valet and parking service for more than 15 years. We are a fun and flexible company to work with and look forward to potentially having you on the team! We are seeking a customer service focused shuttle drivers at Harrah's Cherokee Valley River Casino & Hotel in Murphy, NC. We provide first-class parking services and seek friendly, outgoing individuals with a desire to create a guest experience that exceeds the guest's expectations. We provide valet parking services seven days a week.

Requirements

Must have a valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must have the ability to deal with a variety of people in a courteous and professional manner.
Must have basic knowledge of local area.
Must be personable and outgoing.
Must present a professional and impeccable appearance.
Must perform duties with a sense of urgency.
Fluency and literacy in English.
Demonstrated excellent guest service skills.
Ability to sit for long periods.
Ability to operate vehicles with a variety of controls in a safe, efficient manner.
Ability to tolerate noise, odors and vibrations without losing concentration.
Ability to read a map and to follow verbal directions.
Ability to assist passengers into and out of vehicle.
Ability to handle large/heavy items up to 75 pounds and stand entire shift.
Auditory and visual range must include immediate environment.

Nice To Haves

One-year experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Familiarity with the property to ensure valets and guests are transported as safely and quickly as possible.
Loading and unloading luggage from transport vehicles.
Track number of guests transported.
Inspect interior and exterior of bus at beginning and end of every shift to ensure spotless condition; recommends servicing of the vehicle as necessary.
Demonstrate a pleasant and enthusiastic demeanor at all times.
Communicating with guests and answering any questions
Filling vehicle with gas
Vacuuming and wiping insides of vehicles
Perform ancillary duties as directed
Maintain professional appearance of yourself, your uniform and work area while on duty
Be willing to accept constructive criticism
