About The Position

The Shuttle Driver is responsible for transporting employees along scheduled routes, answering questions, performing vehicle inspections, reporting issues, and maintaining cleanliness. This role also involves ensuring compliance with policies and safety procedures, attending meetings, and performing other assigned duties.

Requirements

  • Must be able to lift at least 75 pounds.
  • Must have good customer service skills.
  • Minimum of 1 year driving experience of vehicles including but not limited to a large passenger van and buses.
  • Must have a Wyoming Drivers’ license of commercial driver’s license class A, B or C with current D.O.T physical card.
  • Candidate must obtain a commercial driver’s license permit within the 90 days of probation.
  • Must have a clean driving record.
  • Must not have excessive speeding, aggressive driving, or driving under the influence violations.
  • Must be able to walk, stand, bend and twist.
  • Must be dependable, reliable, and able to work alternating shifts including peak hours, promotions, holidays, and weekends.
  • Must be 21 years of age at time of hire.
  • Must be able to demonstrate their US work authorization during the employment verification process.
  • Must be able to pass a background investigation.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment Drug Test.
  • Must have a valid Wyoming Driver’s License.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Gaming License.

Responsibilities

  • Transport employees along scheduled routes.
  • Answer questions regarding routes, schedules, and other information.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspection on all vehicles.
  • Report mechanical problems or needed repairs.
  • Use cellular phone or radio devices to report interruption of service or request medical help.
  • Fill out daily passenger log counts.
  • Keep vehicles clean at all times inside and out.
  • Ensures all policy and safety procedures are followed for day-to-day operations.
  • Ensures compliance, policies, and procedures.
  • Attends mandatory staff and departmental meetings.
  • All other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor and/or manager.
