Great Lakes Wine & Spirits continues to grow as we seek a Night Shuttle Driver for our warehouse depots in Grand Rapids.

Requirements

  • 21 years of age and older
  • Chauffer and CDL A license with airbrake endorsement
  • Hi-Lo and Pallet Jack experience
  • Must be willing to work in all weather conditions
  • Willingness to take direction and work independently
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 55 lbs.
  • Acceptable driving record
  • Adhere to the policies and procedures outlined in the employee policy manual and any applicable contracts, signed agreements, and work rules.
  • Cooperates with all management and staff of GLWAS.
  • Follows all MLCC rules and regulations, as they apply to the position.
  • Use alcohol in a responsible manner when related to business activities.
  • A valid driver's license and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) is required for this position.
  • All applicants will be subject to a driving record check as part of the interview process.
  • Failure to maintain a satisfactory driving record may result in withdrawal of the employment offer or disciplinary action, up to and including termination, if employed.

Responsibilities

  • Delivering product with a tractor/trailer between our Grand Rapids depot to cross docks located throughout Michigan.
  • Perform pre/post trip inspections
  • Follow all D.O.T. and State regulated laws including HOS and ELD compliance
  • Unload product at cross-docks
  • Assist in separating and staging product
  • Operate power and manual pallet jacks
  • Operate hi-lo equipment
  • Perform clean-up of area as needed
  • Take loads to other depots to cover other drivers
  • Other tasks as assigned by supervision
