About The Position

Mission Linen Supply is seeking a CDL Class A Driver to drive a company truck over an established route, delivering and selling products, providing services, and issuing customer invoices. The role serves customers in linen, uniform, and facility services and combines driving with customer service, sales, transaction processing, inventory documentation, and routine truck care. Mission Linen Supply is a family-owned, privately held provider of linen, uniform, and facility service products across five western states. Founded in 1930 and headquartered in Santa Barbara, California, the company operates in an essential-services industry and describes itself as stable and growing. The position is full-time and includes benefits. Starting pay is $21.97–$28.20 per hour, depending on education, experience, other qualifications, and assignment location.

Requirements

Current, valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class A).
Clean DMV record.
High school diploma or GED, three months of related experience, or an equivalent combination.
Intermediate math skills.
Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

Drive a truck to deliver laundry and/or uniforms to customers’ places of business.
Collect payments, make change, and record transactions on customer invoices.
Issue or obtain customer signatures on invoices for pickups or deliveries.
Record delivery and inventory information on daily invoices.
Collect rejected or unsold laundry and/or uniforms, and load and unload the truck.
Call on prospective customers and inform regular customers about new products or services.
Listen to and resolve service complaints, keep the supervisor informed, and follow inventory-control policies.
Maintain a professional appearance and clean and perform routine maintenance on the truck.
Attend training and service department meetings.
