About The Position

Van Eerden Foodservice is seeking a Night Shuttle Driver to join their team. This role involves shuttling loaded double trailers from the Grand Rapids Distribution center to drop yards in Michigan and/or Indiana, and then returning to Grand Rapids. The schedule is a night shift, departing from Grand Rapids, Michigan, Sunday through Thursday, with a typical start time of 8:00 PM and an end time of 6:00 AM. Drivers start earning immediately with paid training and have the potential for additional earnings through a component pay structure that rewards productivity. First-year drivers can expect to earn between $1,450 and $1,650 per week on a standard 5-day schedule, with salary varying by route, business conditions, and individual work ethic.

Requirements

21+ years of age.
Meet all DOT requirements for driving, including possession of a valid CDL-A license.
Doubles Endorsement is required.
Clean Driving Record.
Must pass a DOT Physical, Drug Screen and Drug Clearinghouse.
Background check free from felonies.
License to drive - valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL).
Medical card.

Nice To Haves

1 year of experience preferred.
May consider candidates with new obtained CDL-A License.

Responsibilities

Ensure safe, accurate, timely and efficient deliveries of double trailers to and from Grand Rapids Distribution Center.
Perform daily DOT inspection of equipment.
Comply with FMCSA rules and regulations for DOT hours of service and compliance.
Perform all work within Company safety practices.
