About The Position

Operates bus, transports passengers in a safe and timely and courteous manner, communicates with and assist passengers. This role requires adherence to a strict schedule and maintaining a clean vehicle. The driver will interact with faculty, staff, and students, requiring excellent customer service skills.

Requirements

• Possess a commercial driver’s license with passenger endorsement.
• Minimum three years driving experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Superb customer service skills.

Nice To Haves

• High school graduate and/or equivalency preferred.
• Parking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates bus and transports passengers safely, timely, and courteously.
• Communicates with and assists passengers.
• Reports to work on time as required.
• Works to a very exact time schedule.
• Wears a uniform and complies with neat grooming and personal hygiene standards.
• Deals effectively with faculty/staff and students.
• Is courteous, friendly, and helpful toward all passengers and the public.
• Works as a cooperative team member with fellow employees and supervisors.
• Does not deviate from route unless advised by a Supervisor.
• Keeps the interior of the bus clean.
• Completes a thorough Pre-Trip Inspection each day.
