This is a Mon-Fri route that has you home every night. The company offers rapid pay increases, a sign-on bonus, quarterly bonus potential, and more time off. They are a family-owned company that understands family. This job utilizes your CDL license and helps keep you fit. If you don't have a CDL but can get it quickly with assistance, they offer paid on-the-job training where you will be paired with another driver for hands-on experience to gain the skills to get your CDL and take over your own route.

This specific shuttle driver position involves pulling two empty trailers from the Box Elder depot to the Chadron, Nebraska, depot. There, you will meet a driver pulling a load from Kearney. You will move con gear to drop off and pick up two fully loaded trailers, and pull the two full trailers back to the Rapid City location while the Kearney driver takes the two empty trailers back to Kearney. This is a drop and hook driving position. Routes generally start at 10pm and are expected to return at about 5am. The work schedule is generally Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with Tuesday as a potential route night if needed. This position will average around 25 hours per week, but will be paid for 30 hours to make benefit eligible. If routes are not run for any reason, the 30 hours will be pro-rated.

Requirements

• 18 years old (21 years old required for shuttle drivers)
• Current Class A CDL, or ability to obtain within 3 months
• Doubles endorsement (shuttle positions)
• High school or equivalent
• Good driving record

Nice To Haves

• Ability to regularly lift up to 50lbs
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 100lbs
• Exertion necessary to connect the Con Gear 2-4 times per day in a wide variety of conditions
• Ability to climb in/out of trucks

Responsibilities

• Pull two empty trailers from Box Elder depot to Chadron, Nebraska depot.
• Meet driver pulling load from Kearney.
• Move con gear to drop off and pick up two fully loaded trailers.
• Pull two full trailers back to Rapid City location.
• Drop and hook driving.
• Connect Con Gear 2-4 times per day in a wide variety of conditions.
