About The Position
We are seeking a Shuttle Driver to join the US Foods team. This role is crucial for our operations, ensuring the safe transport of trucks to and from remote dispatch sites. As a Shuttle Driver, you may also be called upon to perform duties of a Backhaul or Delivery Driver. This position offers a starting pay of up to $30.16 per hour, with a schedule of Sunday through Thursday, starting at 6 pm. US Foods is a leader in the foodservice industry, and we believe in helping our drivers succeed both on and off the road.
Requirements
- Register to the FMCSA Clearinghouse
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
- 6 months commercial driving experience required
- Must be able to read and communicate in the English language - able to hold a conversation, to understand highway traffic signs and signals, to respond to official inquiries, and to enter information on reports and records.
Nice To Haves
- Doubles endorsement required AND minimum 6 months driving with doubles endorsements preferred
- Must be comfortable working overnight
- Ability to operate manual transmission preferred; may be required in specific locations
