About The Position
The Shuttle Driver is responsible for safely transporting guests to their specific destinations, handling baggage with care, and ensuring guest satisfaction. This role also involves maintaining the vehicle's safety and cleanliness, adhering to traffic laws, and demonstrating knowledge of hotel services and the local area.
Requirements
- Possession of valid driver’s license and evidence of insurability
- Driving record that is acceptable per our current insurance carrier guidelines
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle stressful situations with poise and professionalism
- Conduct work-related functions in a professional manner
Responsibilities
- Transports guests safely to their specific destination
- Handles guests’ baggage with care and assists with loading and unloading baggage from the vehicle
- Communicates with team members to ensure operational efficiency and guest satisfaction
- Ensures vehicle meets safety and security protocol
- Inspects vehicle daily and corrects defects or issues
- Completes a vehicle inspection report in accordance with standards
- Services and maintains the vehicle in accordance with standards
- Records mileage and destinations
- Ensures all traffic laws are obeyed while operating and parking the vehicle
- Maintains both interior and exterior vehicle cleanliness
- Demonstrates a working knowledge of all services and facilities of the hotel and local area
- Attentively listens to guests and anticipates any additional needs or concerns
- Performs additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership
