Requirements
- Must have Double/Triple endorsements with 1-year experience required
- Must have valid Class A CDL with 1-year experience required
- DOT qualified and able to meet all DOT requirements.
- Good driving record with no more than one moving violation within the past three years.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug screening, and background requirements.
- Ability to safely operate tractors with 28', 36', and 48' trailers.
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of commercial driving experience preferred.
- High school diploma or GED preferred; relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of education.
Responsibilities
- Transport loaded trailers from the branch to designated shuttle locations.
- Return empty trailers to the branch for reloading.
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles while following all DOT and company regulations.
- Maintain scheduled delivery and pickup times.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Communicate any issues, delays, or safety concerns to management immediately.
- Represent Ben E. Keith professionally with customers, vendors, and fellow team members.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
