About The Position

The Shuttle Driver/Warehouse Associate plays a critical dual role in ensuring the efficient transportation of personnel and the smooth operation of warehouse activities within the organization. This position requires the individual to safely operate shuttle vehicles to transport employees or materials between designated locations, adhering strictly to safety protocols and schedules. In addition to driving duties, the role involves performing various warehouse tasks such as receiving, storing, organizing, and preparing shipments to maintain an orderly and productive work environment. The successful candidate will contribute to operational efficiency by coordinating logistics and supporting inventory management efforts. Overall, this role is essential in bridging transportation and warehouse functions to support the company’s daily operational goals.

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to operate shuttle vehicles safely and follow all traffic and safety regulations.
  • Basic experience in warehouse operations including material handling and inventory management.
  • Physical ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Safe vehicle operation and warehouse handling are applied daily to ensure timely and secure transportation of personnel and materials, as well as efficient warehouse workflow.
  • Physical stamina and coordination are necessary for loading, unloading, and organizing goods within the warehouse environment.
  • Communication skills facilitate effective collaboration with team members and supervisors to address operational needs and safety concerns.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience as a shuttle driver or in a similar transportation role.
  • Forklift certification or experience operating warehouse equipment.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory software.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings or late shifts if required.

Responsibilities

  • Operate shuttle vehicles safely and efficiently to transport employees or materials between specified locations according to established schedules.
  • Load and unload goods, materials, and equipment in the warehouse, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
  • Assist with inventory management by organizing stock, conducting cycle counts, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and shuttle vehicles, reporting any maintenance or safety issues promptly.
