About The Position

Supporting a local, family-owned transportation company, Shuttle Drivers are responsible for safely transporting loads between our trucking facilities, warehouses, and customer locations. This role is ideal for candidates seeking steady, local driving work without overnight travel.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license and Class A Commercial Driver’s License (required)
Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination (required)
Effective communication skills
Ability to follow routes, directions and schedules
Reliability; able to report to work on time daily and work independently

Nice To Haves

Previous CDL-A driving experience (preferred)
2+ years of incident-free commercial driving experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

Transport loads between designated warehouse and delivery locations in a safe and timely manner
Follow routes and delivery schedules to ensure timely and efficient operations
Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections in compliance with DOT regulations, maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the shuttle vehicle and reporting any concerns or safety issues promptly
Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams regarding routes, delays, or issues
Adhere to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations while driving the shuttle vehicle
Support the team and perform additional relevant duties as needed
