About The Position

Amcor is seeking a Shuttle Driver with a Class A CDL to join their team. This role involves ensuring regulatory compliance, performing local hauling operations, and supporting warehouse activities. The driver will be responsible for transporting semi-trailers over short distances repeatedly throughout the shift, using electronic logging devices, and performing routine vehicle checks. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
  • Must hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
  • Minimum of 1 year of verified over-the-road experience operating 48'–53' trailers.
  • Capable of sitting for extended periods throughout the shift.
  • Able to climb, bend, stoop, and kneel repeatedly during daily tasks.
  • Demonstrated history of safe driving practices and adherence to traffic regulations.
  • Must be able to work in varying climate conditions, including extreme heat and cold.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately complete trailer logs and maintain all required DOT and FMCSA documentation in accordance with federal regulations.
  • Transport 48'–53' semi-trailers over short distances (typically under 20 miles), repeatedly throughout the work shift. Must record movements using ToughBook and the Shuttle Tote Board.
  • Efficiently position and spot trailers as directed to support yard and warehouse operations.
  • Fuel trucks as necessary and perform routine checks to ensure vehicles remain in safe working condition.
  • Assist the receiving team with trailer movements or dock-related tasks when requested.
  • Operate ELD systems for tracking hours of service and logging trip details when applicable.
  • Conduct lot verifications to ensure accurate trailer placement and inventory management.
  • Adhere to ISO and SQF guidelines and company policies to maintain quality and safety standards.
