About The Position

We are hiring an entry-level technician to wash and detail vehicles in our shuttle fleet. This position will be in Worcester, MA. Saturday mornings from 7 am-noon. Staff will hand-wash, vacuum, sweep, clean windows, etc on our walk-on shuttle vans. If so desired, other hours can be added in a variety of other roles to create a 20, 30, or 40-hour weekly position.

Requirements

Must be able to understand formulas in order to mix cleaning solutions, paints, and other chemicals.
The ability to operate cleaning equipment is essential must know how to efficiently operate hand tools or power tools and follow the safety policies.
A valid class D drivers license is required.
Background and driving record check.

Responsibilities

Wash vehicle exterior to clean cars, using cleaning solution, water, cloths, and brushes.
Apply wax to auto body, and wipe or buff surfaces to protect surfaces and preserve shine, using a cloth or buffing machine.
Vacuum interiors of vehicles to remove loose dirt and debris, using a vacuum cleaner.
Clean upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces, using cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devices.
Apply revitalizers and preservatives to vinyl or leather surfaces, and treat fabrics with spot and stain-resistant chemicals to preserve and protect interior components.
Apply special-purpose cleaners to remove foreign materials which do not respond to normal cleaning procedures, utilizing experience and following recommendations of the product manufacturer.
Maintain an organized working area.
Be organized and able to follow schedules and management directions.
