Organically Grown Company (OGC), the Northwest’s largest independent distributor of fresh, organic produce, is hiring Class-A CDL drivers. Drivers help move produce through the organic food supply chain, picking up freshly harvested produce from farms and delivering products to grocers, distribution hubs, cross-docks, and OGC locations. Routes include deliveries to Boise, Spokane, and Seattle, and drivers are home every day, though certain routes include two overnight days. OGC describes its trucks and trailers as outfitted for driver comfort, safety, and control, with equipment including electric pallet jacks and liftgates. Starting pay is $26.00–$30.00 per hour, depending on experience, with a stated current top rate of $36.50 after four years of service and a pay increase after six months. Drivers may earn up to $1.50 more per hour through incentive programs and receive $66.00 per diem for two-day overnight routes. Benefits and other compensation include healthcare benefits for employees and family after 30 days, a wellness program, annual profit sharing, a 401(k) with a 5% company match subject to an annual cap, paid time off, free and discounted organic produce, and company-paid merchandise and safety footwear.
