In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting Kalahari guests via Kalahari shuttle vehicles and accommodating guests during their stay in an attentive, courteous, efficient, and confidential manner.
Requirements
- A minimum of 25 years old with a valid Virginia Driver’s License is required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Nice To Haves
- An understanding of the local area is preferred.
- A background in customer service is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Approach all encounters with guests and associates in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
- Safely transport Kalahari guests via Kalahari shuttle vehicles.
- Load and unload luggage carts.
- Maintain current listing of local and area attractions, special events and activities.
- Maintain list of local transportation guides, churches, sports arenas, etc.
- Check and store luggage for arrivals and departures with luggage tags.
- Escort guests to rooms and familiarize them with hotel services and amenities (hours of outlets, water park, theme park, fitness center, etc.).
- Inspect guest’s room to ensure it is in order and that supplies are adequate before leaving guest at check-in.
- Explain features of the room including operation of radio, television, telephone, in-room movie system, fireplace if applicable, etc.
