About The Position

Personalized Nursing LIGHT House (PNLH) is a behavioral healthcare provider with over 35 years of experience serving adults in substance use disorder treatment. PNLH is seeking qualified candidates for a Full Time Driver position to support its substance use disorder treatment programs across Southeast Michigan. This position will be based at the Plymouth site, but candidates may be asked to provide coverage at other PNLH locations as needed. PNLH takes affirmative efforts to hire individuals with disabilities, including individuals in recovery.

Requirements

• Clean driving record
• Valid chauffer's license (required by date of hire)
• Experience driving a passenger van (12-16 person)
• Ability to climb stairs
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Driver's License (Required)

Nice To Haves

• Training in, and experience with, providing trauma related services.

Responsibilities

• Transport clients to and from housing and programs using the company-provided passenger van.
• Supervise client drug testing.
• Perform apartment monitor checks.
• Assist with moving/packing up clients as needed.
• Assist with admissions and discharges.
• Arrange for rides, meetings, housing, food, clothing, and other resources as appropriate.
• Use the LIGHT Model in all interactions.
• Other duties as assigned.
