About The Position

We are seeking a reliable and professional Shuttle Bus Driver to join our team. The driver will be responsible for safely transporting students, faculty, staff, visitors, and community members. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and punctuality.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Minimum three (3) years of relevant experience.
• Valid New York State CDL Class B Driver's license.
• Passenger (P) Endorsement.
• Air Brake Qualification.
• No restrictions affecting passenger vehicle operation.
• Safe driving record with no significant violations.
• Ability to interact professionally with a diverse population of students, faculty, staff, visitors, and community members.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of safety, professionalism, and reliability.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience operating passenger shuttle buses in a university, municipal, transit, or hospitality environment.
• Familiarity with campus transportation operations and customer service best practices.
• Experience working in a diverse and inclusive environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate shuttle buses in a safe and efficient manner.
• Transport passengers according to established routes and schedules.
• Ensure the safety and comfort of all passengers.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain a clean and orderly vehicle interior.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies.
• Interact professionally with passengers and provide excellent customer service.
• Report any vehicle issues or incidents promptly.
