About The Position
Fresh Start Foods Canada Ltd. is seeking a full-time Shunter/Loader to work in a challenging, fast-paced environment. Founded in 1993, Fresh Start Foods provides foodservice customers with a fresh alternative, utilizing an outstanding supply network, efficient distribution, and a modern processing plant to deliver the freshest fruits and vegetables. Requirements
- 1 year previous experience
- Valid DZ License
- Clean Drivers Abstract and CVOR
- Experience operating electric walkie (pallet jack)
- Physically capable / lifting up to 50lbs
- Comfortable working outside in all kinds of weather
Responsibilities
- Count and inspect vehicles prior to moving.
- Monitor and set reefer temperatures throughout the night to ensure they are fully operational for temperature compliance.
- Shunt straight trucks up to 30’ in and out of assigned docks and stage accordingly when loaded.
- Assist with loading and unloading (skid removal adding product and/or picking shorts).
- Operate power walkie.
- Keep an organized and clean dock area.
- Practice & promote a safe work environment by following all safety procedures.
