As a Prime Shred Technician you will work in a production environment using tools and equipment where semi-truck, passenger, and OTR tires are shredded through a series of manual and automated processes. Requirements

• Candidate should possess a mechanical aptitude
• Previous manufacturing/production experience is strongly preferred but not required.
• Must be willing to follow all safety procedures and work in a safe manner.
• Must be goal-oriented and able to consistently meet quality and production requirements.
• Being detail oriented would be beneficial.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Applicant agrees to wear face shield, leather gloves, long sleeved shirt, safety glasses with wings, and ear protection whenever applicable.
• Steel toed footwear, safety glasses, and ear plugs are required anywhere in the shop.
• Candidate will need to be able to lift 105lbs, carry 60lbs, and push/pull 60lbs.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation to and from work.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Unloading casings from trailers using forklifts or other means
• Inspecting tire casings
• Mechanical tire de-beading
• Unloading bagging stations
• Stacking inventory and inventory management
• Quality control of finished product.
• Any other duties required by management.
• Must maintain a clean working environment
• Must be willing to work closely in a team driven environment
