Iron Mountain is seeking a motivated and physically resilient Shred Loader to join our Operations and Processing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe dismantling, sorting, and high-volume processing of recyclable technology and media equipment. You will work alongside a dedicated team of production professionals focused on secure asset destruction and environmental sustainability.

Requirements

  • Proven experience working in a fast-paced, production-driven manufacturing, warehouse, or recycling facility.
  • Strong knowledge of safe heavy-lifting techniques, with the documented ability to lift and move 50 plus pounds consistently throughout an 8-hour shift.
  • Proven ability to maintain high energy, focus, and productivity while standing for the entirety of an 8-hour shift in variable workspace temperatures.
  • A dependable work ethic with a demonstrated readiness to adapt to varied manual labor tasks based on immediate business volume demands.

Responsibilities

  • Safely disassemble printers and electronic devices to remove ink, toner, and paper components, ensuring clean materials are fed into the shredding system to meet daily facility production quotas.
  • Work closely with floor supervisors and team members to adapt to changing warehouse flow needs, manually sorting and hand-feeding miscellaneous electronic assets as designated by shifting operational priorities.
  • Strictly adhere to internal safety standards, environmental regulations, and organizational protocols while operating processing equipment in a physically demanding, high-temperature industrial warehouse environment.
