About The Position

The Sales Manager is responsible for leading the daily sales operations of the showroom while driving revenue growth, delivering an exceptional customer experience, and developing a high-performing sales team. This role oversees showroom sales activities, coaches and mentors sales associates, ensures operational excellence, and partners with leadership to achieve sales goals and business objectives.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of sales leadership experience, preferably within the stone, tile, flooring, building materials, or home design industry.
  • Demonstrated success leading and developing high-performing sales teams.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
  • Excellent customer relationship management and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day sales operations of the showroom and ensure a best-in-class customer experience.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop showroom sales associates to achieve individual and team sales goals.
  • Monitor sales performance, open orders, quotes, and customer follow-up to maximize conversion and revenue.
  • Train and onboard new sales team members on products, sales techniques, company processes, and customer service standards.
  • Establish sales priorities and ensure consistent execution of company policies and procedures.
  • Approve pricing, discounts, and promotions within established guidelines.
  • Resolve customer concerns and escalate issues as appropriate to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Partner with the Regional Sales Manager to develop sales strategies, forecast sales performance, and identify growth opportunities.
  • Maintain showroom presentation standards and ensure the showroom is clean, organized, and fully merchandised.
  • Coordinate with operations, warehouse, shipping, and customer service teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Build and maintain relationships with designers, builders, fabricators, contractors, and other key customers.
  • Represent the company at networking events, industry functions, and customer meetings as needed.
  • Manage scheduling, staffing, performance coaching, and ongoing development of showroom employees.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
