About The Position

This hybrid opportunity is designed for a current retail employee to support both retail operations and a neighboring wholesale showroom. It provides hands-on experience in wholesale, expands business knowledge, and builds skills that support future growth. The role blends retail leadership responsibilities with wholesale showroom support, creating exposure to new processes, partners, and operational strategies while maintaining strong performance in the employee’s home retail role. The Showroom Operations Supervisor supports showroom operations, manages samples and inventory, coordinates projects, and provides day-to-day leadership similar to a retail supervisor. The role helps ensure the showroom is organized, business-ready, and operating smoothly while giving the employee meaningful development across the wholesale channel.

Requirements

Current retail employee with leadership experience as a Supervisor, Key Holder, or comparable role.
Organizational and project coordination skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Ability to collaborate across teams and drive results.
Interest in learning wholesale operations and gaining cross-functional experience.
Ability to support physical showroom activities, including moving and organizing product and samples, consistent with role requirements.
Reliable transportation to the assigned showroom location, where applicable.
Must be 18 years or older.
Can handle heavy lifting (up to 40 lbs.) and constantly moving around, kneeling, carrying items, reaching overhead, and climbing ladders.
Must have reliable transportation.

The employees remain connected to their home retail store and flexes to the assigned wholesale showroom during identified business needs.
Showroom support may align to product demand, sample sales, events, market appointments, selling seasons, and other planned periods.
Scheduling and labor allocation will be coordinated by retail and wholesale leadership.
This role is designed as a development opportunity and does not guarantee future placement or promotion.
Is good with people and able to support, assist, and coach store associates to perform their work effectively.

Responsibilities

Keep the showroom organized, professional, and customer-ready.
Maintain operational standards, safety, and business continuity.
Support logistics for showroom events and selling seasons.
Oversee sample projects and resources including track, organize, and maintain sample libraries.
Support inventory accuracy, replenishment, and product flow.
Partner with retail and wholesale teams to manage movement and resolve discrepancies.
Support showroom projects from planning through execution.
Coordinate timelines, resources, and communication across partners.
Identify opportunities to improve processes, organization, and efficiency.
Provide leadership for showroom operations.
Foster teamwork, accountability, and a positive culture.
Support onboarding, training, and knowledge sharing as needed.
