About The Position

TMS Manufacturing is a 100% Employee-Owned, industry-leading business with over 75 years of success. We are one of the largest distributors of natural stone slabs, poured-in-place terrazzo, and quartz surfacing. We believe that the teamwork and dedication of our employee-owners are the cornerstone of our success. We are looking for a Full-Time, Permanent Showroom Design Representative. The primary responsibilities include greeting clients in a friendly, professional manner and providing courteous customer service in person or over the phone.

Requirements

• Friendly, outgoing, and welcoming personality.
• High school diploma, general education degree (GED), or related experience.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Proficient in order processing systems.
• Commitment to high standards.
• Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a stressful atmosphere.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds.
• Versatility, flexibility, and willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Being detail-oriented with important information between HOmeowners, designers/contractors, or fabricators.

Responsibilities

• Greets clients in a professional friendly manner
• Answers phones, book appointments, stock checks, assisting fellow colleagues when needed.
• Performs customer service duties when needed.
• Builds effective relationships and trust with customers and potential customers by listening to their needs and informing them about products and services that are most appropriate to their situation.
• Responds to customer inquiries timely and appropriately.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
