In this role, you will play an essential part in ensuring residents feel respected, safe, and cared for during their daily routines. Success in this role requires reliability, trustworthiness, and the ability to provide exceptional care while maintaining dignity and respect. Your Impact as a Shower Aide In this role, you will: Assist with Bathing : Help residents with bathing, ensuring their safety, comfort, and privacy at all times. Provide Compassionate Support : Maintain a friendly and respectful demeanor to foster trust and comfort. You will be answering call lights, passing trays, making beds, etc. Support Personal Hygiene : Assist residents with grooming and personal hygiene needs. Collaborate with Nursing Staff : Communicate any skin changes or concerns observed during care. Maintain Organization : Ensure bathing supplies and equipment are clean, organized, and properly stocked. Document Care : Maintain accurate documentation of care provided. Follow Safety Protocols : Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to prevent accidents or infections.
Requirements
- Is compassionate and patient with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Handles sensitive situations with care and discretion.
- Demonstrates strong communication skills to provide updates to nursing staff and residents.
Nice To Haves
- Has previous experience in long-term care or resident assistance
- Holds CNA certification
