About The Position

The Center at Tucson is looking to hire a CNA/Shower Aide now! Shift Availability: Full time, Monday-Friday, anticipated hours of 8am-4:30pm with some flexibility. Pay: $16-20/hour, dependent on experience. Job Description: Provide each patient with routine bathing care and services in accordance with the resident's assessment and care plan, and as may be directed by your supervisor. Requirements

  • Must possess a current and valid fingerprint clearance card (FPCC).
  • Must possess a current and valid C.N.A. license.
  • Must possess a current and valid CPR certification.
  • Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug test.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
  • Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
  • Must possess the ability to tactfully work with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.
  • Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents.
  • Must be able to relate information concerning a resident’s condition.
  • Must be knowledgeable of HIPAA compliance and requirements, and have the ability to maintain highly confidential information.
  • Must not pose a direct threat to the health and safety of other individuals in the workplace.

Nice To Haves

  • 1 years’ experience in a skilled nursing facility is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in and receive the nursing report upon reporting for duty.
  • Follow established policies concerning exposure to blood/body fluids.
  • Complete daily showers for patients.
  • Document care and patient refusals.
  • Maintain intake and output records as instructed.
  • Report injuries of an unknown source, including skin tears.
