About The Position

As one of Evo’s Show Producers, you will be responsible for the production of various Evo livestreams. You will be the day-to-day lead from pre-production through wrap, covering the world’s largest fighting game tournaments. You will also produce live-to-tape, long-form video content throughout the year. This role sits within the Evo Production team and works closely with the Head of Production, Director of Programming, and key production partners and vendors. The ideal candidate has experience owning esports livestream productions from ideation through the final “thanks for watching” screen.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience leading the execution of esports livestreams.
  • 5+ years of experience producing long-form, live-to-tape programming.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, shifting priorities, and live-production deadlines.
  • Ability to remain calm, make sound decisions, and solve problems quickly in high-pressure live production environments.
  • Ability to travel at least one week per month, including occasional international travel.
  • Ability to work weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Own assigned Evo livestream productions from pre-production through final delivery.
  • Develop run of show, production schedules, scripts, camera plans, graphics requirements, music, and partner integrations.
  • Lead production meetings, rehearsals, and live control room execution, ensuring teams are aligned and prepared for each broadcast.
  • Coordinate talent, crews, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage real-time production issues and make decisions during live broadcasts to keep the show on track.
  • Deliver productions on schedule and within approved budgets.
  • Lead production wrap and post-show debriefs, documenting key learnings and opportunities to improve future productions.
  • Produce long-form and live-to-tape content from concept through post-production.
  • Manage locations, crews, editors, graphics, talent, schedules, and final approvals.
