Show Host
About The Position
This is a seasonal position where duties will include performing as a show host/hostess, emcee, singer, and dancer. Responsibilities also involve meeting and greeting park guests with enthusiasm and animation as directed during rehearsals. The ideal candidate will be passionate about performing on stage or on the street, energetic, and love what they do. The role may require performing specific choreographed movements, maintaining organization of props and costumes, keeping dressing rooms and performance areas clean, and transporting costumes to and from the performance location and wardrobe.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be passionate about performing on stage or on the street.
- Must be energetic.
- Must love what you are doing!
- Constantly standing, talking, climbing, walking, reaching, using finger movement, grasping, feeling, speaking clearly, hearing conversation, using hearing acuity, seeing near and far, stooping, bending, kneeling.
- Ability to work in extreme heat, sun, cold, wetness, humidity, and temperature changes for up to two-hour intervals.
- Must be able to wear 5 to 20 pounds of costume weight.
- Ability to use help from a coworker or mechanical device for lifts over 51 lbs.
