About The Position

Waukee CSD is seeking a licensed teacher or current district substitute to provide short-term, individualized writing instruction to a student. This assignment offers up to 20 instructional hours, with a preference for sessions on Wednesdays after school. Some flexibility may be available on non-student days or occasionally on weekends, typically for one or two hours at a time. Paid preparation time of 1-2 hours per week will be provided. The assignment will conclude once the required instructional hours are completed.

Requirements

• Hold an Iowa endorsement in 5-12 English or 5-12 Special Education
• Must be a licensed teacher or a current Waukee CSD substitute teacher

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support in the subject area of writing
