About The Position
Magnolia Animal Hospital is seeking a Short Term Stay Veterinarian to join their team in Ocala, Florida. This role is designed for flexibility, offering a chance to experience different hospital environments and caseloads without long-term commitment. It's ideal for full-time W2 doctors considering a location change, relief doctors seeking more stability, seasoned veterinarians looking to slow down while staying clinically active, or those desiring flexibility for travel. The position emphasizes practicing medicine with minimal administrative duties, supported by a collaborative team and comprehensive benefits.
Requirements
- DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA accredited college (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program)
- Active license in good standing to practice in the state in which candidate will be employed (or the ability to obtain a license in that state)
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience strongly preferred
- Comfort in adapting to new clinical environments and team structures
- Strong communication and a collaborative mindset
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality medical care in your specified hospital location
- Serve patients and clients with a relationship-based approach
- Collaborate and engage with the clinical team and leadership
- Grow relationships within the practice and the Ocala community
- Encourage the growth of support staff members through our internal LevelUp training program
- Manage a varying caseload, including surgeries and appointments during our open hours
- Represent AVG with professionalism and compassion in the hospital you support
