About The Position
This is a performance-based, 1099 contractor role focused on building the company's short-form video presence on TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. The role requires original video creation, moving beyond filler content to build a strong brand presence. It's a performance-driven position with lower starter rates and significant upside potential based on view milestones and channel growth.
Requirements
- 1-5 years of experience producing short-form video content for platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
- Comfortable on camera or possess strong direction skills for talent.
- Proficiency in captioning and an instinct for lower-third design.
- Sharp narrative instinct and respect for brand voice.
- Self-directed with reliable weekly cadence.
- Ability to work as a 1099 contractor.
Nice To Haves
- Background in B2B services, professional content, healthcare, hospitality, or government services.
Responsibilities
- Produce 4-6 original short-form videos per week (60-90 seconds, vertical, captioned).
- Concept, shoot, edit, caption, and publish original videos from scratch.
- Create content around themes such as workforce strategy, hospitality industry commentary, behavioral health workforce, founder reflection, and MBE business building.
- Coordinate the publishing schedule with the Social Media Manager.
- Track view performance and iterate on content strategy based on results.
