At Harvesters, the Shopping Floor Coordinator is one of the faces of our organization to agencies who pick up their food orders on site. In addition to their regular orders, agency representatives have the opportunity to "shop" from our selection of non-standard food items – this is where you come in. You'll assist agencies with check-in and any issues that arise while they are shopping and monitor and assist volunteers working on the shopping floor. Excellent customer service with both internal staff and external agencies and customers will lead to success in this position. The Shopping Floor Coordinator performs a daily grocery rescue import and completes inventory journal entries and adjustments in our software. You'll check the daily schedule to ensure that all scheduled agency pickup orders are ready for shipment. You'll be responsible for restocking the dry/cooler areas and discarding damaged food. We pride ourselves on maintaining clean, safe trucks, tractors, trailers, warehouse equipment and work environments. This position includes implementing all methods required for the safe product storage handling and disposition following safe food handling procedures.
