NCSG Crane & Heavy Haul Services, headquartered in Edmonton, Alberta, is the largest majority Canadian-owned crane and heavy haul company in Canada. Requirements

Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
Must have demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and oral forms
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
Cooperative and professional ability to assist others

Responsibilities

Participate in preparatory meetings before any specialty/large job or turnaround to ensure Yard and personnel involved are prepared to successfully and safely complete the scope required
Maintain a clean and organized yard that also has all the necessary safety measures in place
Represent the company, help to resolve any customer concerns in a professional manner
Assisting Shop Foreman with parts runs
Ensure all personnel working in the yard or visiting the yard have the proper PPE and also abide by all safety policies
Ensuring all equipment is washed and ready to be dispatched on their next job
Constant communication with the maintenance department and assist with repairs and/or services if needed
Confirm that all tractors and trailers leaving the yard have appropriate items such as chains, binders, cribbing, etc.
Maintain and inspect rigging and rigging storage area
Perform pre-operational inspections including hazard assessments
Operate Forklift to lift, move, position or place equipment and materials
Other duties as assigned
