Shop/Yard Assistant
About The Position
This is a hands-on support role focused on yard operations, equipment handling, parts transportation, shop organization, and fleet readiness. As a Shop / Yard Assistant with our Fleet team, you will clean and wash fleet vehicles, tools, equipment, and work areas; safely operate a tele-handler and other equipment to move parts, materials, and vehicles around the yard; assist in receiving, organizing, and transporting parts, supplies, and equipment; perform general yard maintenance and housekeeping duties; assist with shop organization, inventory, and material handling; support fleet mechanics and shop personnel with non-technical tasks as required; and maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
Requirements
- Reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented
- Comfortable with physical work and machinery operation
- Willingness to learn
- Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain a tidy workspace
Nice To Haves
- Basic mechanical knowledge is helpful but not required
- Experience using a tele-handler or similar machinery is a plus
Responsibilities
