This role involves repairing and reinforcing structural elements of commercial vehicles and equipment. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Welding certification or equivalent work experience required
Proficient in MIG and arc welding techniques (TIG a plus)
Ability to work independently and troubleshoot fabrication challenges
Familiarity with welding safety procedures and personal protective equipment (PPE)
Able to lift and move materials up to 75 lbs.
Comfortable working in physically demanding and noisy environments

Responsibilities

Perform welding and fabrication tasks on trailers, trucks, and various metal components
Repair and reinforce structural elements of commercial vehicles and equipment
Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and technical drawings
Operate a variety of welding equipment including MIG, TIG, arc, and plasma cutters
Cut, fit, and fabricate metal parts using hand tools, torches, and grinders
Conduct visual inspections to ensure weld quality and compliance with specifications
Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with safety standards
Assist with other mechanical or shop-related tasks as needed
Adhere to all company safety protocols and procedures
