Shop & Warehouse Technician
About The Position
Employee will be responsible for helping Shop Foreman work on equipment which has been brought to site for diagnosing and repair. Repairs will require someone who has mechanical knowledge and skills. Enforce safety requirements within the shop area. Keep shop area tidy and safe to avoid safety hazards. Communicate with customers, truck drivers and employees regarding shipments and deliveries. Upon receipt of install equipment, will need to work with Install Manager to segregate and label equipment by job name/number etc... Must be able to operate a forklift to load and unload equipment while practicing safety measures. May be required to go out to customer sites to assist Road Technicians and do Firewatch when required.
Requirements
- Good communication skills.
- Basic Computer Skills.
- Ability to use a tablet.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Required to supply own basic hand tools.
- Must pass background test, physical, and drug test prior to hire.
Nice To Haves
- OSHA 10 Hr Training.
- Clean driver's license (required for advancement to Road Technician).
