The Shop/Warehouse Hand will be responsible for various tasks including inventory management, order preparation, shipping, receiving, and ensuring a clean and organized work environment. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of previous experience in a warehouse or shop environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Good listening skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Works with a sense of urgency to meet employee and customer deadlines.
  • High level of accuracy.
  • Problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous use of a Pallet Jack and Forklift is a plus, but we will train!

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the shop and warehouse are clean, organized, and free from any safety hazards.
  • Prepare documents, such as pick slips and shipping orders, to route materials.
  • Pack, seal, label, and affix appropriate shipping labels to prepare packages for shipping.
  • Examine shipping contents and compare packing slips for accuracy.
  • Strap material to pallets and ensure product(s) arrive at customers’ locations safely.
  • Receive and put away product in a timely manner.
  • Maintain store shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory.
  • Perform daily and weekly cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Troubleshoot problems.
  • Provide input on process improvements.
