About The Position

Crown Equipment Corporation, a global leader in lift truck manufacturing, is seeking a Shop Utility to perform a variety of tasks including shipping and receiving, equipment inspection and labeling, maintaining shop cleanliness, performing minor building maintenance, assembling hand trucks, scheduling repairs, assisting with inventories and deliveries, and supporting other departments as needed. This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, less than two years of related experience, a valid driver's license, a good driving record, and the ability to safely operate lift trucks.

Responsibilities

• Perform shipping and receiving duties
• Inspect and label incoming and outgoing equipment
• Clean and maintain proper order and appearance of parts and shop areas
• Perform minor building maintenance repairs and painting
• Assemble hand trucks and inventory related parts
• Schedule in house battery and charger repairs
• Assist with van inventories and parts deliveries
• Assist other departments as needed
