About The Position
A successful candidate for this position will be an experienced Trailer Mechanic or diesel mechanic, with a strong understanding of semi-trailer diagnostics and repair. Someone who is self-motivated, able to work independently, safety-minded, and is able to effectively communicate with customers and co-workers.
Requirements
- Must be an experienced Trailer Mechanic.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Ability to pass a physical and drug screen.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Inspect and diagnose malfunctions on all trailer systems.
- Troubleshoot, repair and replace defective components.
- Perform regular check-ups and preventative maintenance on trailers and parts, including: ABS, air brakes, frame, body, suspension and electrical systems.
- Coordinate with other staff to receive, execute and bill work in a timely & proper manner.
- Help maintain positive working relationships with current customers.
